The 2017 Chevy Equinox was designed to appeal to a variety of drivers. The new model comes with a standard 2.4L engine on each of its three trims—LT, LS, and Premier—generating 182 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. This well-balanced ride has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 21 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway when equipped with Front-Wheel Drive. You can also choose an All-Wheel Drive model at every trim level, which gets an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

The LT and Premier trims offer the option of a high-powered driving experience with a 3.6L V6 engine that generates 301 hp and 272 lb-ft of torque. The gas mileage with this engine is just as competitive as the 2.4L engine, getting an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

The Equinox is versatile with seating for up to five passengers and a 60/40 split seat design along with great cargo capacity. Use the rear Multi-Flex seat to free up to eight inches of leg space, or fold the seat to unlock a total of 63.7 cubic feet of cargo space.
